Tides & Weather Forecasts

The RNLI offers a free "Sea Check" a completely free, friendly and confidential service that looks at safety aspects involved with your boat. SEA Check is neither a test nor an inspection and there is no pass or fail. Conducted by one of their highly trained volunteers, SEA Check is a personal face-to-face safety advice service that takes place on board your own craft. We'll happily put you in contact with our local RNLI volunteer.

We also offer ISA Powerboat level I and II, Advanced plus Safety Boat and Diver Coxswain courses suitable for anyone involved in watersports where rhibs or other crafts are used.

Baltimore has a tidal range of up to 4 mts so planning your dive sites carefully when diving offshore wrecks and reefs is paramount.

Aerial "Helicopter" Images of Irish Coast Line

If you want to check out certain dive sites close to land, then why not "fly" there in this Helicopter and scan the area beforehand. However, do not rely on these images for current weather or surface conditions as these were taken over the past year or so!
